  As Head of Television my role and responsibilities included: the creation and development of new series, producing pitch packages and series' sizzle reels, pitching projects to Canadian and US networks, reviewing and assessing submitted series proposals, supervising series in production, as well as the creation and supervision of production budgets, schedules and talent/team contracts. Delivered all International requirements for distributors and foreign deliveries. Results oriented - My tenure at Buck Productions resulted in six series being produced.

• Series Producer "Cake Walk" for Slice Network at Buck Productions Inc.

  August 2010 - October 2011

  "Cake Walk: Wedding Cake Edition" was a studio based competition between three professional Canadian cake designers. Hosted by Comedienne Caroline Rhea. Responsibilities: Worked with the network on series development and creative. Once green-lit, oversaw the staff contracting, couple casting, post production, budgets, music and graphics direction and daily supervision of the series from production through to post production.

• Supervising Producer "Rich Groom Poor Groom" for Slice Network at Buck Productions Inc.

  May 2009 - December 2010

  "Rich Groom Poor Groom" was the spin off of the hit series "Rich Bride Poor Bride". Responsibilities: Liaised with the network on series development and creative, as well as supervised casting, post production, budgets, contracting of production staff, music direction, graphics direction, supervision of the series and liaised with network executives.

• Supervising Producer "Rich Bride Poor Bride" for Slice and WEtv Networks at Buck Productions Inc.

  The internationally renowned one hour factual reality television series "Rich Bride Poor Bride" ran six seasons and explored the human drama of what it takes to pull off the "perfect" wedding when costs collide with expectations. Responsibilities: Development, working with network executives on content, notes, creative. The day-to-day supervision of series production, including working with the production team on crafting the episodes, series couple casting, writing and post supervising all edits.

• Supervising Producer "The Rich Bride Poor Bride Guide" for WEtv at Buck Productions Inc.

  2009 - 2009

  This one hour special provided viewers with tips and techniques to pull off the perfect wedding. Starring the wedding planners of "Rich Bride Poor Bride" and new couples getting married. Responsibilities: Developed this one-hour special from inception. Simultaneously shot with the series "Rich Bride Poor Bride", I oversaw casting, writing, post production, budgets, talent contract negotiation, daily supervision and worked with the US broadcaster directly on creative, notes and delivery.

• Supervising Producer "Switch" for TvTropolis at Buck Productions Inc.

  2008 - 2009

  "Switch" was a countdown series that opened the floor to a team of television aficionados and engaged them in a lively discussion about each week's specific subject on classic television genres. Responsibilities: Series development and creative in consultation with this network commissioned series, casting, contract negotiations, post production, budgets, team contract negotiations, set/graphic/music direction, and daily supervision of the series.

• Supervising Producer "Petal Pushers" for HGTV at Buck Productions Inc.

  November 2007 - December 2008

  "Petal Pushers" was a docu-soap that explored the weekly challenges of a prominent florist and her design team as they created incredible arrangements for their clients. Responsibilities: Series development and once green-lit daily supervision of the staff and shows. Worked with the network creative. Other duties included: casting, contract negotiations, post production, budgets, managing/hiring team and graphics/music direction.

• Supervising Producer "Sex,Toys and Chocolate" for Slice and Discovery Health Networks at Shaw Communications

  January 2004 - August 2005

  "Sex, Toys and Chocolate" was a studio based talk show hosted by Dr.Robin Milhausen and Michael Cho that focused on sex related topics. Responsibilities: Brought in by the network to develop series concept and produce the series. Created and supervised the series' look and format from set design to episode structure. In addition to casting, writing, team hiring/contract negotiations, post production work, budgets and music direction. The daily supervision of the series included working with the different levels of network executives.

• Producer/Writer various specials for Food Network at Shaw Communications

  2002 - 2003

  Contracted by Food Network Canada to write and produce a series of four food specials combining reality TV with Kraft food products. "Weekend At The Cottage" "Family Gathering" "Dinner Party: Door To Door" "Food In The Fast Lane"

  2000 - 2001

  "MoneySense" was a weekly half hour series based on the financial magazine's brand with host, Ken Read. Responsibilities: Episode and story development, post production, managing team, day to day production supervision and working directly with network executives.

• Producer "Men On Women" for W Network at S & S Productions Inc.

  1999 - 2000

  "Men on Women" was a weekly talk show focused on men's viewpoints and their relationships with women, hosted by Mag Ruffman. Responsibilities: Episode development, booking talent, writing scripts, post production.

• Senior Producer/ Unit Production Manager/Consulting Producer/Senior Entertainment Producer at CTV Network

  1989 - May 1999

  Worked in various capacities at the network, including the daily production of talk shows, budgets and schedules, control room supervision, field producing, celebrity booking and production management for various genres of programming on over 100 different productions.

• Producer "AIDS: Is the Crisis Over? A Lofters Special" for Discovery Health at Shaw Communications

  1999 - 1999

  A one-hour special featuring the hosts of Lofters discussing AIDS and its impact on college age kids. Responsibilities: One-hour special story/segment development, field producing and post production.
